11th Annual Motor City Open

Sunday - August 23, 2008 is the 11th Annual Motor City Open. The event itself is a sanctioned PDGA Pro C Tier / AM B Tier event.

This event is also an MDGO Feature Event. We will be handing out 12 Berth’s to players who have not yet qualified to participate in the Michigan Disc Golf Championship event held on Labor Day weekend in Ludington, Michigan. For more information regarding the Michigan Disc Golf Championship please visit www.MDGO.org



The Motor City Open will be held at the Gale Vaughn Memorial Disc Golf Course at River Bends Park in Shelby Township.

Registration starts at 8 am and ends at 9 am.

The players’ meeting is soon after 9 am and tee off is at 9:30 am.

The course WILL be closed to casual players from 6am until 7pm.

The Series Ace Pool will begin the day over $750.

Someone is going to win it on the day of the event.



Mr. Pita lunches will be available for those who wish participate.



A special players’ package for the first 40 Amateur players registered.



The Motor City Open Awards Ceremony will be followed by the Metro Detroit Championship Awards Ceremony.

Bring the form with you to league on Monday night (Firefighters Park).

Bring the form with you to the Saturday Doubles at River Bends (Saturday, August 23, 2008).



Saturday Doubles, August 22, 2008, $10 per player, Registration 11:00 am – 11:50 am. Tee-off @ High Noon.
