Congrats to the Flint Town Flyerz who stepped up and held off a charging Club Dead second round. Winning the team competition 279-273. It was great fun and we look forward to a rematch in the fall at the FTF courses.

No these are not exclusive. Just a fun way to play new courses and meet new people. All you need is to show up. If you have a partner great. If not we'll find you one or work something out. The format is basically two player teams. At this event Flint is also challenging Club Dead and that challenge does not have an effect on payouts unless of course there is a side bet between the two clubs.

Is this exclusive?

The cost for this is $20 minimum, for all players. there is an optional ace pool-50/50 pool for $5. we offer two divisions in pros and the normal am divisions for the singles provided there are two or more players
For the doubles we have an upper and lower div based on team rating (your partners and your rating combined and divided by 2) the cut-off is 900 for the doubles
Each round is a separate little tournament. with $5 per player going to the payout pool. In addition you can win $5 each round for winning your handicapped match.
There is also a team payout to the team(s) with the most points on the day.
This is a more relaxed format and we usually all head to a longer lunch together at a local establishment to discuss the round and commiserate over our beer. In this case we are eating lunch at Paisano's in downtown Three Rivers (Oberon on tap is one of our criteria in choosing a lunch spot) After lunch it's off to Oshtemo for singles.
