First I want to thank everyone who showed up to this event because you are the backbone of this sport. We had 56 people turn out and we still payed out around $4,000.00 dollars in cash and prizes and still managed to raise some money for the Boy Scouts of America. Thanks also to all the volunteers and staff of the Twin City crew. We will be posting full results later.

Here is a few of the winners:

Open

Matt Orum- 1st place
(total take home for the weekend $1,500.00; $500 of which was earned from the long distance competition)

John Fowler- 2nd place
(behind by only a couple of strokes)

Toby Trichell and Big John- Tied for 3rd place

Advanced Masters

Pat Brandio - 1st place

Advanced

Jeremy Crowell - 1st place

Amateur

DJ - 1st place

Novice

Jared Martinez - 1st place

That's all I have from memory. Just wanted to thank the sponsors and I hope everyone enjoyed our event. Everyone have a great Easter.

We just modified a couple of holes. Our signature hole 5 is now a "true" par 4. We're still trying to get the measurements. It was 718 ft but now its much longer. There are also two new pin placements in our wooded section. Juniors and Novice only play on Friday. A free lunch will be served on Friday. Not to mention all this cash...hope to see a good turn out! Be there bright and early.

With $1,000.00 for first place open and $500.00 for long distance drive up for grabs, that's a lot of money....who's coming to get some? Only a couple of days left. The club's been busy at the course. Big props to all the new blood volunteers and the old school diehards. The course is looking beautiful. This weekend ought to be great. I hope you all can come out and show your support for the Boy Scouts of America. There will be tons of stuff to give away thanks to sponsors such as INNOVA and Disc Golf Unlimited. Hope to see you all there at this PDGA event which is rare for this region. Come out to show your support!
