2011 PDGA Amateur and Junior Disc Golf World Championships

The Greater Rochester Disc Golf Club (GRDGC) and the Professional Disc Golf Association (PDGA) are pleased to present the 2011 PDGA Amateur Disc Golf World Championships to be contested on seven of Rochester’s area disc golf courses from July 24-30, 2011. This marks the third time that all eyes will be on Rochester after hosting the Professional Disc Golf World Championships back in 1984 and 1999. All of this is made possible through the cooperation of the Monroe County Parks & Recreation Dept., Town of Chili Parks Dept., Town of Parma Parks Dept., Monroe Community College and the Monroe County Sports Commission.

We expect over 600 players; men and women aged 6 to 80, from across the country and around the world.  The 2011 PDGA Amateur Disc Golf World Championships will bring together a diverse group of
participants, their supporters and spectators making this truly a global event.
