Tournament Description

The Discraft One Disc Challenge will be held on Wednesday, April 30. We'll tee off at 5:30 p.m. The Discraft One Disc Challenge is for club members only! Discraft will give each club member a FREE disc to play the round with and to keep. The round will be played only with that one disc and prizes will be awarded afterwards. The score from this round will not be counted as part of the regular league. We will start keeping track of scores for league on May 7. There is no entry fee for the Discraft One Disc Challenge, but you will need to pay your club dues to participate. (In addition to the Discraft feebie, you'll get the usual club gear: disc, mini, t-shirt.) We'll start collecting membership dues at 4:30 pm, near the parking lot. Warning: This event may fill up because we have a limited number of Discraft One Disc Challenge discs.

Please note-the one disc challenge is NOT an ace race-18 normal holes are played with the disc generously provided by Discraft, and some prizes given out.

I hope it's a driver disc like the Avenger and not another niche turnover midrange like the Breeze or Glide or Meteor.

Are you kidding?? I'm taking a half day from work to enjoy the afternoon and to help out with getting things set up. I'll be there with bells on.....or maybe in my kilt....hey Foz! Get yours out and we'll show people what real men wear when playing disc golf!

So far only 99 of you have RSVPd - so you've thrown your toss in the Virtual Jumbo Toss. Plenty of your buddies have not.

Sounds like an even better idea than the Ace Race (which is great in its own respect).
