Tournament Description

Oregon Deaf Disc Golf Association Championship at Horning's Hideout, North Plains, Oregon.

This will be one of the big championship meets among the DEAF disc golfers on the west coast.

Comment by Crystal on June 2, 2009 at 12:03pm: It was a blast!!! We had a great time there. Over 33 people were registered for the event which is a new record for ODDGA. There were 7 female players (three divisions for them! Amateur, Open, and Masters') There were at least 12 Masters', two of them were in the Amateur Masters' while the rest were in the regular master's group. We had one "intermediate" player who was "boosted" up to Advance group because he was in his own division. He played well and learned quite a bit since it was his first tournament! Way to go kiddo!
I will have to look at the other website to see who did come. We had people as far as Georgia and Texas come to the tournament. The one who had to drive the longest was from Southern California (San Diego). We had a player from Arizona also who had played at the National tournament. There were four NT players (Nathan, RJ, Tan, and Nichola) who had played at Beaver State Fling the week before, so it was a wonderful experience for them..
Horning's Hideout was a wonderful place to host a tournament!
