Yes, we just need to spread the word some more. There are plenty of people who will play a Monthly who are not interested in the bigger tourney, as the EIEIO. I have seen people leave Morley because of the crowd. Those folks might be open for other options, as many of us are, but they may not know of Sun Valley yet. I will spread the word as I chat with other disc golfers this coming weekend. It takes time to get something new going, so be patient. It should come together.

Having the EIEIO the day before discouraged play. I fully intend on playing the SV monthlies that do not conflict with schedule.
I think that 16 players is totally possible for next month.

I believe we were looking for at least 16 participants (4 cards of 4 players.) Consider that Morley only allows 48 participants and does not close the course yet still fills up every time. Sun Valley is willing to block off tee times for us which is as close to a closed course we can get (other than PDGA events EIO, Spring Fling, SVO) but we can't even get 15 people to say they're willing to play.

AV et al, how many players are required to move forward with a Tournament? I apologize if I missed this data on the website somewhere.

I will plan to attend my first Sun Valley Monthly having only played the course once. I will enter as either Women (if there are more than I) or you can place me in Novice. My average at Morley Field is +4 to +6. I hear it might rain Sunday, so if it does, I will NOT be there.

ok so it looks like we dont have the numbers for a monthly so i am going to have to cancel it. maybe next month, there is just too many tournaments going on right now i guess. thanks to those that RSVP-ed and to ben creating the event

thanks dave, those look like they will be the fees for Sunday's monthly on top of the green's fee of $5. 100% payback to all divsions.....store credit for top quarter in each division except for Open gets cash. Please state what division you intend on playing when you RSVP. Thanks....
