Tournament Description

This event has successfully concluded. The gift certificate winners are:

  • Bran Maynes
  • Justin Lambert
  • Justin threw an 88 and Brad threw a 90. The best score of the day was Scott Ransley with a 69.
    • One day only - we're setting up the first stab at the occasional Lakeshore Gold Course. It's 10,680 feet of throwing your arm out but it's only 18 holes. Yep, that's more than two full miles of throws, not counting walking between holes. No entry fee. Best score all day gets bragging rights. Everyone who finishes and turns in their scorecard gets a random-draw chance to win one of two $50 Throw Shop gift certificates. (Yes, if you play it twice, you can have two chances, but your arm might fall off.) This is a very rough DRAFT map. Note that Gold Hole 17 combines Blue Z + Blue 16 and requires throwing through a "clown's mouth" mando. I hope to have a better map available soon, as well as descriptions, but probably won't get to mark the course with flags, etc., until Saturday morning.

Here's an up to date map and scorecard.

Just put up the rough DRAFT of a map, Greg. Basically, Gold Hole 1 is a combination of Blue 1 to 2's basket; Gold Hole 2 is a combination of Blue A to B's basket. Gold 3 throws from Blue C to F's basket. Gold 4 throws from about 100' in front of White 3 to 13's basket; Golf 5 throws from near Blue C to 14's basket; Gold 6 throws to 12's basket, but is moved to make the first throw a more interesting dogleg right; Gold 7 is Blue 3; Gold 8 is from Blue 4's tee to 5's basket;Gold 9 is to 6's basket but from quite a ways deeper than the usual tee; Gold 10 is from Blue 9s tee area (roughly) to 7's basket; Gold 11 is from near 8's tee to 9's basket; Gold 12 is Blue 10; Gold 13 is Blue 11; Gold 14 is 15; Gold 15 is Blue W; Gold 16 is from Blue X tee to Blue Y basket; Gold 17 is from Blue Z through a "clown's mouth" mando and then dogleg left to Blue 16's basket; Gold 18 is from the elevated grassy area behind White 17's tee to 18's basket.
