The Canyon was a Florida course designed by Greg Hosfeld that used 60 acres of ancient Florida sand and gravel pit to create what Sheila and I still revere as the best course we've ever played.

Sheila and I got this disc the first year we played this tournament. If you were there for the doubles on the Friday before it, by some chance, you'll probably remember the huge Coast Guard helicopter that swooped around the course for 15 minutes until the pilot spotted Sheila and returned an XL I had lost the day before in Tampa by dropping it from the sky.
