The Community of Disc Golfers and About All Things Disc Golf

Gabriel's post asking "what one disc would you reach for?" got me wondering.

I have almost the same question - what one new disc would you choose (off the shelf, never thrown) to play a complete round?

Does it changes our answers? Everyone has a feel for the discs in their bag, how 'beat' they are, etc. What is the disc you would choose for versatility and would reliably throw 'off the shelf' the way you expect?

As usual, my answer today is different than what it would have been a year ago, and it will probably be different next year: z-comet.

Lat. 64 Core! Best mid and plastic ever!
Cobra(old-school dx scratchie look)
Flx Buzzz
Vibram Ridge
ditto.
All of these mids. I would go with either the Sidewinder, TeeBird or Banshee. The thing is my Banshee is my disc for shaping shots, around trees and all. But you don't always have to do that. Sidewinder can make some great shots as well. And the TeeBird. I just got an ace with that disc. I think that I would go TeeBird.
Second the TeeBird best all around disc there is IMO
dx tee bird.
As a relatively new player, if I were pressed to go play a round with one disc only, in off the shelf condition, I'd say the Star TL (both 172 grams), which I have owned two of. Of course, I have quite a few discs to try before I have half the experience of half the people here.
how bout an old CE classic roc, brand new, never thrown
