The Community of Disc Golfers and About All Things Disc Golf

I know Eric McCabe is a great putter, but in the 1st issue of DiscGolfer, on page 42, he says "I like to place a couple of baskets about 50 feet apart and putt back and forth with at least 10 putters and don't stop until I make 'em all."

Does he means he leaves it in the basket when he makes it, and keeps shooting the other ones, or does he mean 10 STRAIGHT? It can't be, right? Am I that bad? I play Perfect Putt but have never made all 20 of the 10 footers.

Even if, though, it'd take me a month straight just doing it 10 times.

hey... I guess that's why he cashes the big bucks and we don't...
haha yea, thats why hes a top pro.
I heard while practicing before the Memorial Nikko Locastro made 24 in a row from 45 feet! Simply amazing!
50ft isn't really that long of a putt, especially for a pro. Just have a putt regimine everyday, or a couple times a day, and stick to it; it'll take a bunch of strokes off your score if you are regular with it.
I imagine he has two baskets 50ft apart, then plays to one then picks up his discs and plays for the other one... so he doesn't have to do a lot of walking back and forth. Just pick up his discs and throw to the other basket. I think it makes sense. I also think it's a great practice routine.
