The Community of Disc Golfers and About All Things Disc Golf

Hello, My name is T.R.(Tom) Pluister. I am a Sophomore at Western Kentucky University, I am the President and Captain of the Western Kentucky Disc Golf Team/Club. I am interested in competing along with the other members of my team against other colleges in intercollegiate play. If any other disc golfers in college have any information about other colleges who are interested in this competitive play i would ask for you to please contact myself at thomas.pluister899@wku.edu I am in the beginning stages of contacting other nearby colleges to form a collegiate league and starting a series of college events for students who wish to play competitively against one another while in college. Bowling Green, KY is a perfect setting and environment to hold many disc golf events with several events due to the fact that the area has 7 disc golf courses that can be used for such competitive events. Again please don't hesitate to contact me about this matter. Thank you for your time and i hope to see many of you out on the course! =)

go to the ultimate link www.upa.org
Look up the college page.
Maybe they can help you out.
Ultimate is big time on the college level.
Good Luck!
Thanks for the input, but im looking for disc golf, not necessarily Ultimate. It is big on campus here at WKU, its one of the biggest clubs here. Im very interested in DISC GOLF. Thanks again, Collegiate Disc Golf is the key for this discussion, and colleges who currently have a team or interested in forming one to play against ours would be great!
There are ultimate players who play disc golf.
Just maybe they can help.

Thanks for the info guys, i saw this website about a month or two and contacted them, however there methods of contact are rather strange and imprecise :( Furthermore the number of teams/schools who participated is awesome, the format of the tournament is a lil out of the ordinary as well, where the Collegiate Disc Golf Championships was a game of disc golf and some odd accuracy games. This was a strong basis for my idea as well as WKU has held multiple College Championships(so have other schools, who aren't organized with one another), this is i like a continuation of a college championship tournament and organization of school, hopefully! I love the input from both of you and the effort, i truly appreciate. Thanks for you all your help - T.R. Pluister
that would be awesome if disc golf went to the collegiate level
