I remember how he was telling a story about how he was scheduled to put a clinic on and the poster said something to the effect he was distance record holder but it did not say how (backhand or forehand). It was just after his backhand record was broken so they came up with idea that he would set the forehand record which he did do and the poster wasn't lying he did have the distance record.
The little bit I have been able to be around Scott he was always very enjoyable to visit with.

Scotts 518' sidearm throw would give him third place behind Victor malafrontes 538' and Ken Westerfields 552' Both of their throws were with a 119 gram World Class Frisbee. These heavy weighted disc are better for backhand than sidearm.
