Hey man, This is what the Innova FAQ Glossary defined it as...
Spike Hyzer – A shot thrown high with an extreme hyzer angle to land vertically.

Here's a link of Coda Hatfield doing a spike hyzer shot.
Spike Hyzer usally refers to a throw where the disc is angled more then 30 degrees from flat. Actually I guess an easy way to look at it would be like this / or \ . The purpose is to get the disc to stop where it hits if not stick in the ground.
