The Community of Disc Golfers and About All Things Disc Golf

Haven't you ever wondered how that destroyer you are throwing was made? Or the roc, cyclone, beast, whatever. I always wondered this. So I think that all the members of this site, should send a message to Discovery Channel's "How it's made".

I'm current searching for the link and I'll post it here when I find it.

I've always been so curious how they make the different plastics, and the molds and such.

gateway web site is www.gdstour.com sorry my bad
I found an article that explains the process if you can't find the movie

http://www.encyclopedia.com/doc/1G2-2896900050.html
where do you go to view the video once you get to the gateway discs webpage?
In the snap movie there is some video of the whitlers production as well. Cool movie overall
So, I've finally got the time to post this and I hope you read it

If discovery channel covered disc golf, it would be huge!

Not only would we get to find out about how the make discs,

they might do a special on disc golf in general, the muscles used, etc, and they could talk to the pros

and cool stuff like that. If we could convince discovery to cover some disc golf stuff, it would be a major advertisement and a great way to get the disc golf name out.

and maybe they could attract us some new site members? we could easily hit 6,000!
I guess, but I mean you know, Innova might put some funding into it too.

As long as discovery doesn't endorse any other products and such.

That way everyone who sees the show will buy innova discs.
Dave at gateway is your best bet. Aside from the clip that is posted, he will literally go step by step on how a disc is made from the differant polymers used to the bead size to the flight plate. First time i ever talked to him when i got sponsered we talked for over an hour about who this flies and why its able to cut through the air and much much more.

Not to mention Dave and gateway Is out there for everyone and anyone. You can send him an email asking for tips and he will help you out. Looking for xout gateway discs at dirt cheap prices talk to dave. Dave is literally on the forefront of Gateway, He makes himself very available to any and all players.
