Any Airline employees on this site?

I'm looking for day-trip ideas. I want to take one of my sons on a disc golf trip; one day out and back. Convenience to an airport and/or public transportation would be a plus.
We live in the southeast so, that would rule out the west coast for a day-trip. However, if you west coasters have ideas for kid friendly disc golf trips, please let me know as I am also looking for weekend trip ideas.

hey now,check out the Limona disc golf site.found on the PDGA course site. It's a local course in Brandon,Fl.The pro is John McCray and his wife,Jen,who is involved with a travel site.Nice 9 hole course,try it .Exit 251 or 257 off I-75.Peace
