Low Elevation Advice

I'm heading down to Browns 'n Bows for a "Mock One" tournament this weekend and am looking for any advice on throwing at low elevation. I live in Truckee, CA (Tahoe) and our elevation is a little over 6000'. Browns 'n Bowns elevation is somewhere near 60'....big difference!

Do any of you have experience with regular play at high elevation and then taking your game down out of the mountains? I know discs are going to be more likely to turn over, should I leave my understable drivers behind or take them and try to release them with hyzer? I'll have a chance to get a practive round in before the tourny starts....I guess I just want to know what to look for.

I just traveled all over and did that often. Bring all your discs, but practice with overstable first you're probably not gonna need anything that's 'flippy' at lake tahoe, at 60' elevation. You're probably going to be putting high too.

60' Wow that is high.
Come down to Florida where some courses are near and below sea level......

When went to elevation everything was understable.
Especially down hill.
Take Ben's advice.
Get to an open field and throw everything... this will help.

I have been struggling with thie delema for many years. I have just geared up my stabbility of discs. Example: on the same flight path at 6000' where I would use a sidewinder, at sea level, I use a wrath. And so on. Also it is ideal to practice at least three rounds prior to competition. In the past, I have sucked the first two rounds on Saturday, then caught fire on Sunday.........allbeit too late.
