I've been throwing more and more of my buzzes, ace race 08's, and drone lately which makes me wonder what kind of proportion most people keep of midranges to drivers in their bag. Thinking about getting a meteor because I don't have any understable midranges (or putt/approach). I keep 4 midranges in my bag and around 12 drivers.

Hmmm...

When I followed Feldberg for 1 round at Worlds this year I saw him throw Rocs the majority of the time. I guess he does not know how to throw long and he should just go home.

Get a clue.

Midrange discs are for pussies. Layin up will never win you a tournament. Throw long or go home!

Whats the pig like for putts?
i have two pig putters. i like the feel of them but i just couldnt get them into the baskets like my flx challanger or xd. i had to remove them from my bag. on short throws i just couldnt get the right flight out of them, they cut to much at the end of the throw.
one mid and like 10 drivers
pooters-D-Challenger
middies-Z-Wasp 177
Z-Buzzz 176, Flx Buzzz 170, ESP Buzzz 174
2008 Ace Race 175, Z Storm
Drivers- Z Preadtor 174, Z Predator 168, X Wildcat 174, Z Wildcat 166, ESP Surge 170, FLX Surge 170, SS Surge 168, Z Avenger 167, SS Avenger 172, Z Tracker 167, Champ Orc, Champ Valk, Star Valk.

I know that's a bunch but each one has a specific job. I found it's easier to let the disc do what it wants instead of trying to talk it into sometning....

amen.
Blaze, I would try a 165-167 Flx Buzzz before the meteor. They hold the anhyzer line well and with less snap they make a killer helix disc.
i have 4 mids
elite Z buzzz
2 Champion cobras
hawk

and 15 drivers
2 star 2 DX destroyers
star xcaliber
Champion beast
2 star valkyries
2 Champion monarch
DX raven
DX cheetah
Champion roadrunner
DX archangel
Z storm

and 3 putters
classic Champion roc
1 JK pro 1 DX aviar

i kind of have a disc buying problem
Teebird Star - 150
Teebird Champion - 150
TL Star - 160
Banshee Champion - 147
Wraith Star - 167
Starfire Champion - 160
Road Runner Champion - 164
Valkyrie Champion - 166
Roc Glow - 175
Super Roc - 176 (08 stamp 3)
Roc Champion - 150 (Japan open mis-stamp)
KC Pro Roc - 165
Spider Champion - 165
KC Pro Aviar - 171
Blunt Gumbput - 172

8 Drivers
5 Mids
2 Putters
I carry a DX Gator, a Champion Classic Roc, a DX Birdie, a DX Polecat, a DX Kite, a Soft Magnet, and a DX Aviar.

Generally, I putt with the Soft Magnet or the Polecat. I'm experimenting with the Birdie, and I'm not sold yet. The Kite is understable, the Roc is pretty stable, and the Gator is overstable. I use the Aviar for longer mid-range shots.
If you all really believe this to be true, that you should not throw midranges, your just plain silly! Midrange is the way to go... if you cant throw a midrange far enough you need to go home! LOL

Middies: 6 rocs: 2005 special blend 179g, 2005 champ glow 180g, 2 11x kc pro 178 and 180, 2006 star spectator, 2008 thrower roc 175
Putters: 12x kc pr aviar 175, 11x kc pro aviar 175, super puppy 172, DX sonic 177
Drivers: 10x kc eagle, 2 CE Eagles (an EX and an EL), 1 BOSS 175, 2 1st run star destroyers, champ valkyrie 175, 1st run champ excalibur 175, star excalibur 175, 11x champ firebird 175, 12x star wraith 175
I think I have tried just about all of the midranges at one time or another including the stages of Roc wear. I like the idea of Mold simplicity but I was always paranoid about losing my money Roc. So I switched to the Wasp/BuzzZ Combo. As my form improved the Buzzz in a couple of different plastics, Crystal,Z, and FLX became what the stages of Roc wear were for me and now I can always grab a new one. SO I carry 3 Buzzzes and that does it for me. If its really windy I might grab my Wasp or FLX Drone but in general three is enough.
