The Community of Disc Golfers and About All Things Disc Golf

Hey all,

I thought it would be kind of cool to post our scores of the day somewhere like this. This site will continue to grow and this would be a fun way to keep up on your friends progress. What do you think? For those of us that don't travel to tourneys, it will be cool to see how current SD DG'ers are doing.

I'll send out reminders each weekend for the next month or so and if no one is interested, I'll turn the forum off.

Thoughts...
1. Positive vibe. No using this forum to dig on others
2. Score plus a few highlights?

Been kinda of averaging 7 -8 down for 19 holes. Some good shots and some bad. Mixed bag.

Lots of new folks playing !!!!
Monday 5/12/08 Doubles Results for Montiel:

1st: Team Subway: Meatball/Veggie - 9 under
2nd: Devo/Brett "Thumber" Braverman - 7 under
3rd: Wingspan/Lizard hunter - 5 under

Ace pot continues to grow...Wingspan almost got it, "poling" #3. Cashman wins "Bagger of the Week" award for arguing that he was a B.
At the monthly on saturday I shot -7under for 2 rounds and took 1st place
I want to see you do that this weekend at Chavez Ridge.
Montiel Park Doubles results for 6/2/08:

1st: Dave Vincent/Luke Vicent - 12 under par
2nd: Don Vincent/Tommy Vincent/Lefty Rizbee - 11 under par

Yes, we played 3 on 1 last night. Well, I don't know if you could call it three really, since I played lefty, but there were three warm bodies on one team and one pushing a stroller on the other.

Our turnout has been very light the past few weeks. Doesn't anyone want to play birdie-fest doubles? The ace pot is at $90 and will probably be taken home by a Vincent or a lefty shot by me next week, unless we get some challengers. 5:30pm
Yeah, I would have been there except I was wiped out from the Summertime open. I'm still out of energy from that one.
Yes, you were a putting machine! I'm just happy that a few of my drives were used by my threesome.

-Lefty
Whoo Hoo. The summertiem open was a blast.
Emily Hardy took first in Open Women (lets get her some competition...)
Dave Roper took first in Advanced
Kevin Gomez took third in Advanced
John Tallent took second in Senior Grandmasters
Bill Richards took third in Senior Grandmasters
Megan Stroh took second in Advanced Women
Laurie Stroh took third in Advanced Women
Rhett Stroh took third in Advanced Masters
Mike Kvasnicka took fifth in Advanced Masters and
Evan Taylor took fifth in Intermediate

Way to go Aces.
D-unit and I played Huntington Beach last weekend after watching part of the second round of the Golden State Classic (had to support the Aces.) First round D shot a -3 and I choked with a +10. Second round though, I shot a +1 and D shot a +2. I love improving 9 strokes in one round. That felt good. Looking forward to the EI Bag Tag Challenge this coming weekend.
Forget the summer fling, played like shit..this ct course if insane!
Doc cleared me to play, so I'll be at EI with discs in hand on Sunday, arthritis and all!!
