Is the Grenade an actual shot in your books? As I am not the greatest putter I use the Grenade to lay up for an easy putt or to go under brush/brushes, much to the dismay of freinds. They always make faces when I throw one :-/

lol... I believe the Grenade is an actual and legitimate shot, but if you're 10-15m out, it might be better to try to "float" a putter, which at least gives it a chance of going in? That is all we're saying, but the Grenade is a safe shot, and something you might see me do during the Perth Open (maybe!!!).
right on! play the percentages.
I use it when neccessary. In 2005 at the Mid-Nats I used it 6 times
..each time saving a stroke, including parking hole #7 blueberry hill off the tee! It can hurt real easily, so don't field practice it. Easier to control than overhand shots for some.
Grenade? As in throwing it upside down right? Anyway if so I use this instead of a thumber up to about 250.
