Locally a big thing to do is sign baskets after an ace here in Greeley, CO. I was wondering if this is just a local thing or if it is common place around the country? Do you think this is a good idea or a bad one?

Use the basket for sponsors names.
If it were your own 'personal' property go ahead.
But not in the public eye.
Unfortunately 'image' is important to park officials and those that pull the purse strings.
I use to think it was cool, till I saw someone booted from a tourney for it.
Bad idea, to me its vandalism like graffitti on benches or signs. There's an ace video on here where a guy
signs the basket, I kinda hope he gets some negative feedback for that.
Sign the Disc.
Drawing/Adding stickers to signs is wrong.
If the courses get abused, they get pulled.
At our local course if someone hits an ace on any hole the club will go out and get a small peice of metal and ingrave the date and the person who hit it and we will stick it onto the pole of the basket. I think hole in ones deserve something even if this doesnt go down well you could also put it on a near by tree or rock.
