Has anyone actually thrown this? I am just curious because of their bold statement of this will be your farthest driver. Is it really that far, it's rim is far bigger than the boss on one side of the disc while the other half is small like a fairway driver. Does not seem like it would fly worth a crap. But it is PDGA Approved.

The EPIC is the most unreliable disc I have ever thrown. It will be over-stable one throw, then be the flippiest thing on earth the next. I love that one of the features of the disc is the ability to "tune" it. That is obviously its biggest flaw, since any tug or bend or bump it might take causes it to fly differently. I prefer consistency myself.
I own one, it feels un-natural, maybe because I didn't know it wasn't meant to be thrown overhand. I'll try it as a thumber & see if it was a worthwhile purchase.....
I own one, and my friend does also... he for some reason was able to crush it, i on the other hand threw mine sidearm, and iv'e seen it turn all the way upsidedown... your supposed to be able to "tune" it, but mine at the moment is burried under snow in my backyard and im not to concerned about it... I would spend my money on something more reliable.
found one in the basement once and tried to backhand it, nothin doin. a hammer toss would work and at the worlds distance competition some three guys threw them and went about 600 feet, but as everyone has said, 4-step that damn thing
