Veteran's Park, Arlington TX sunday morning 10am mini hosted by the ADGA (Arlington Disc Golf Association)

Starts @ $1,084 on 3/2/08 and will grow $2 per player.
The HDGA is up to $400 with $1 per player.
That $1084 is crazy...hearing those chains off the tee is gonna sound o-so sweet. Columbus, OH Griggs Monday Random Doubles was just capped at $400 with the 2nd fund at $380...
The $1,084 somehow isn't that rare at Veterans Park. No matter where the pins are, there's always 5-6 holes that are aceable if you've got a 250' - 350' shot.

In the last 2.5 years we (The ADGA) have awarded SEVERAL $750 ace pots, one $1,082 ace pot, and an incredible $2,640 ace pot!!!!!! I was fortunate enough to hit one of the $750's and the $1,082. When that $2,640 ace went down we had 83 players at the mini, 45 in open alone.....more players than some A tier and NT events!

Disc golf is GREAT in Arlington, TX. Come get some.

ADGA club president Greg Browning takes the first ADGA club ace pot of 2009. He hit hole #15 for $500 this morning with his Z-Xtreme. Last week we had a member, Tony S, hit hole #13 for $750 on the last ADGA club mini of the year. There always seems to be a FAT ace pot in Arlington. Come get some!
Weatherford's current ace pot is at 476.00, and growing a buck a player. Saturday 9am random draw doubles.
I remember hearing that the ace pot in McKinney @ Alex Clark Memorial gets up to $500+ pretty regularly...which is very odd considering that most holes out there are <200' ace runs!
Aces are so cyclical... we had an afternoon where the pool was $47, and three people hit aces.
At my friends private course it was about $300 in the fall. We had a fun day out there before winter where there was a $5 cash ctp on every hole, seems how there is only about 10 regulars that pay in out there. Still no aces that paid yet, one kid hit a sweet ace on hole 18...but, of course he didn't pay in. ALWAYS pay for ace pot!!!
Sounds like you need longer holes! LOL!! Murphys Law, when the pot is small you will have multiple aces that day. Geez.

while part of me likes the idea of hitting a huge ace pot, I also like the idea of capping them at some number..like 400 or 500, and then starting a new one.

We do cap them in a progressive way. We build a pot to 500 then cap it. Then we start a 2nd pot. Once the 2nd pot reaches 250 its capped and we start building the original 500 pot until it hits 750. Once it's at 750 we go back to the 250 and build it to 500. Now we have a 750 and a 500. Once there, we start a 3rd ace pot and build it to 250. Now there's a 750, 500, and 250! Now comes the fun......we start building the 750 until it gets hit.

We have had ace pots reach 2700, 1600, 1550, 1250, 1082 just to name a few. Once the big one gets popped there's a 500 one right behind it which immediately starts building towards 750. The 3 tiered ace pots have worked for the ADGA for 10 years now. There always seems to be big $$$ to shoot at. Come get some!
