i may have forgoten one or two but i think thats it
awesome! I'll look forward to that!

I've played over 125 courses. I keep a log of them and grade them as to which are my favorites according to my personal taste. I started with these definitions:
A+ = Exciting all the time, variety, challenge, beauty
A = Excellent
A- = Excellent, but missing some key elements
B+ = Very very good, but not exhilerating
B = Solid course, lots of fun
B- = Decent, but too many personal strikes against
C+ = Only one factor made it interesting
C = Mildly interesting
C- = Nothing wants me want to play it again
D+ = Boring, Open, Minimal variety
D = Boring, Open, Too short, Almost no variety

Now I enter new courses I play on this list by asking myself, "If these 3 courses were all 10 miles from my house, which one would I feel like going to the most, most of the time?"

Here are the 18 hole courses (91 of them):

I throw accurately around 300-325' and am a 950-ish golfer. Enjoy beautiful and secluded courses. Terrain changes, Multiple shot holes, and Water holes are a plus. Variety is great and holes that force me to throw specific shots in order to score well get some brownie points. Good risk-reward for my skill level is also a bonus.

you played Ellison but not Chili? go back!
someday soon. Ellison was right around the corner from where I was working!
I've played 174 courses in 25 states and one province. In all, I've encountered 2,304 different holes. (yeah, I keep pretty crazy records of my DG play)

I have a new photography site called DiscTrips.com, still under construction, where some of my best scenic & quirky photos of all these courses are displayed. The site focuses on the nature & culture of the sport, as opposed to the competition.

Good times.
Okay, I figured it was time to put my list together. Looks like 454 courses in 33 states and Ontario since April 1989. Top four states were MN-90, WI-45, IA & OH 27 each. Played PDGA events in 28 states. At least 34 of the courses were temp courses, typically for Worlds and 22 of the permanent courses appear to be gone from the current directory. The number of different holes played is a little over 7800. Looks like I'll try to get to 8000 holes by the end of 2008. I've been involved with 100 course designs from being an advisor for 42 courses in 13 states to 58 courses in 4 states where I did more than 50% of the design.

While this may be a lot, it's still just a little more than half of the 800+ courses played by Gregg Hosfeld. He's the current champ.
Oouch thats hard to follow. Everett has played 92 courses in 15 states plus 4 in Holland which were great. I went to Belgium but it rained so hard we couldn't get out of the car but it sort of looked cool through the windows. In Paris the directions were wrong so we got lost and only had hours to spare before our flight back to the US. While playing softball in Taiwan I designed a course or two and did some shows in 2000 which was fun. Harold Duvall, Innova, gave me 150 slip disc to pass out to all of the Taiwanese kids. I hope to reach triple digits this year but with my son being a young baseball stud I may not which is cool by me..............Everett
I just went over the 100 courses played mark this year, mostly in Texas and Colorado, but have played all around the southwest and from Florida to California but only as far north as South Bend Indiana.
My wife is from Georgia and we'll be headed there later this year so I'm going to try and make it to Augusta while we're out there.
if you're going to play in GA, make sure you check out Central Park, East Roswell Park and Lenora. Also, i understand that the Rome area has some nice courses.
you can do East Roswell and Wills Park in one day; they're only 15 minutes from eachother. also, i think Redan and Lenora are real close.
happy golfing
