disc golf for wii ???

I just recieved a letter from the PDGA that said "Look for a PDGA Disc Golf game for the Wii platform in 2008"
I think this will be great as its the only real interactive game system out there. I am excited to see it happen.

In the game 'Super Monkey Ball Banana Blitz', there's a disc golf mini game. The motion isn't very realistic or nuanced, but, it exists at least =)

It'd be way cool if there's a PDGA disc golf game. I'd totally buy it...

IGN and other gaming msg boards are saying a late summer/fall release but they might be complete speculation. I overheard by the clubhouse that two different software companies were talking to the PDGA and/or Innova about sanctioning a game at this years USDGC, and even my non-throwing non-gaming girlfriend expressed an interest in getting a Wii if there was even a 1/2 decent title put out.

Here's to hoping! I've menetioned on other bards that the gyroscopes in the Wii will be incredible for a DG game... I'm a very serious PC gamer, but would thin about a Wii just for a DG game!!
