I need a bit of help...

Call me crazy, or call me awesome, but I've got a very close friend who has a birthday coming up and of all things I know he would truly appreciate, it would be an awesome disc. We play a few times a week, and just recently he's explained all the different plastics and molds to me. He just bought an '08 San Marino Roc...and he loves it. I want to get him something I know he will really love and not be too afraid to use. He has LOADS of discs, and is REALLY passionate about disc golf...he breathes it! I don't know if I should get him like a collector type disc or what. So PLEASE give me some tips!

he loves rocs,so a older 7 or 8 time kc roc would be a good gift,look to e-bay or this site for people selling older discs,good luck

get him a Huk Lab shirt or something else; I have had discs given to me before and I either never threw them or I would throw them and feel terrible if I lost them. A practice basket is always a good choice as well.

what about bags? he has a bag right now but has commented on getting a little bit bigger one. what should i look for in a bag?

I've allways carried an Innova Tour Bag. It holds 14 disc easy, has big side pocket, putter pocket where I carry my mini and score card for easy access, small pocket. and a drink pocket that will hold a 1 liter bottle.

Some of the folks in here make custom dye jobs of pretty much whatever you want.

There are a lot of good bags on the market. I have 3. 2 Innova bags in different sizes + an Revolution bag (but those can cost some $$). The PDGA has a good bag which is big. Innova has a new bag which is also big. Lightning have bags which are big and cheap and also Gateway make a good bag.
Now it all comes down to personal taste and how much you are willing to spend....

9x KC Pro Roc's are super nice, although I believe that one to be a bit over priced.
