The Community of Disc Golfers and About All Things Disc Golf

Call me crazy, or call me awesome, but I've got a very close friend who has a birthday coming up and of all things I know he would truly appreciate, it would be an awesome disc. We play a few times a week, and just recently he's explained all the different plastics and molds to me. He just bought an '08 San Marino Roc...and he loves it. I want to get him something I know he will really love and not be too afraid to use. He has LOADS of discs, and is REALLY passionate about disc golf...he breathes it! I don't know if I should get him like a collector type disc or what. So PLEASE give me some tips!

Much appreciated!

revolution bag is a must have if he is really into disc golf like you say he is,

you can also hit up WIDYE on here and josh can get you a nice dyed disc for ya.

lsdiscs on here and ebay rule and you can get him a bunch of shirts and not pay out the nose, lars bren and nils (owners of lsdiscs) are awesome to do buisness with and will have it shipped out fast.

good luck
Sounds like you are passionate about your close friends obsession with disc golf. This is a good thing.
Have orders of women buying for their boyfriends all the time.
You can go to www.discplayersports.com and check out the cool logo items or you can find the Disc Player logo product at any major disc golf retailer, if planing to buy more than just Disc Player.
Have a great time.
Let me know Juli. I'm sure I can help. There has to be something your friend would want maybe dyed on a disc. www.widye.com/gallery
hi juli, i like to pick equipment myself. you might also consider a short trip to play disc, eat out and maybe even stay over somewhere.
Who is your friend? If he plays a lot I may know him or even play with him. Much easier to make suggestions if we know him.
Hey everyone! Thanks so much for all the great tips and ideas! He's got a great bag already, a basket, he dyes his own discs and does his own designs, and I would feel bad if he lost a disc I bought him...which would make him feel bad, too....SOOOOOO....I did happen to notice that when we play with friends he takes his shirt off, but I know in tournaments (if it's a PDGA?) I believe he has to keep his shirt on. Anyway, it's so muggy and humid down here, he said something about some breathable shirts...like dri-fit or something. So I think I'm going to look into that. Also, I got him a year's subscription to Disc Golf Magazine. He doesn't get it, and it's the gift that keeps on giving, right?!

Thanks so much for all your help! I really appreciate it! ;->
