Home Dyes Without Plotters

I see all these beautiful dyes but most of them are made with plotters.
Now I don't have a plotter, so all my dyes are done by hand.
And let me tell that it is hard to cut a straight line but I am just trying.
Here is my latest design.
What do you think?

I also started to experiement with glue instead of stickers.
Be creative!

If you got to an art store or something you can get a metal ruler and use that along with your x-acto knife and make perfectly straight lines.

The hardest part was to put those pieces in the right place. you can see that the bottom right one is a little bit to much to the inside and yes, it should have been in the centre more.
I'll try that next time.

On another note: I started to work with glue. this gives me nice lines to write stuff.
Not straight but it just looks cool...

I actually started doing that but I use just normal tape.

about the glue...I don't live in the states, so I don't know what elmers glue is.
this is just your normal universal glue.
True about the graffiti but I also made it look that way....

I saw that you also made some fine pieces...love the ones with those letters. That looks like a lot of work if it was all hand cut....or do you have a special trick to do this?

What do you think Gwillim...can I have bragging rights on working with glue or what? hahaha

cut all mine my by too. if you use a plotter its more like photo copy'n than art. long live the artists!

Long live the artists indeed, but I don't think hand cutting is much of an art form. I think people who actually do their own artwork are artist regardless of how they cut vinyl...

Hand cut or ploted its all graphic arts, and pays well in some fields . look how much Andy Warhol made off a pic re-print of Campbells Soup Cans.

I have never used a plotter, But I feel brett@supersickdisc :) is right. Half of the people saying they would not use a plotter just race the picture, as I often do! Not fair to say it's not art. Soome of the guys I know with a plotter spend many hours working on art.
