The Community of Disc Golfers and About All Things Disc Golf

Everyone got the email about the flyer contest yesterday, with a deadline of Monday night. Overnight, we had three entries come aboard. They are attached in PDF to this post. Please feel free to print them and post them at the courses and shops you visit this weekend. Please, no littering!

Look further down in the conversation for more flyers. After the deadline on Monday evening, I will put them all on a list, but until then I will just add them to this conversation as additional attachments, as they come in.

where mine to late or can they be included? it seems like you are still adding new submissions..... i can only hope....
not sure anything else will happen with these... :(
It's suppose to be 5 new discs from Terry's collection with the Monday eve deadline. Where are the results? Why are there new flyers slipping in? Where are the weapons of mass destruction? I missed an entire weekend of disc'in to work on my submission. Let's go Terry, let's go! (Arena chant) (maybe the top five should each get a disc?)
Not at all.

As Terry mentioned more recently, his day job is killing him. Sometimes "life" gets in the way of disc golf (as seen in my most recent player rating updates). I'm sure if someone talked to Terry and said, "Hey I know you're busy so let me take over this contest" hed be more than happy and gracious for the support. He would need to clarify which entries were emailed to him on time and let the person move on with it (sorry, I dont' have the time to volunteer for this one).

If I had a quality printer and good paper I'd probably post bobderimacker's flyer. I'll probably save it and convert it to b/w, tweak the color/brightness and print it here at work...do I have your permission bobderiemacker?

Everyone's a winner for taking the time to submit something! Thanks for your efforts and contributions.
sir_gio: absolutely, It actually is DiscGolfersRus's now, you forfeit the rights once submitted.

Thanks for the complement, btw

b&w version below to download if anyone else wants b&w...

I also agree that entries submitted late should not be allowed in contest, mypaleale was not the only one who skipped weekend activities to help 'the cause' :)

Yep. Exactly. I could R-E-A-L-L-Y use some new equipment right now...and was hoping I might get lucky and have people dig my "keep it simple" flyer that would be cheap/easy to reproduce in both color and B&W! However, I've been reminding myself that it's not about free discs or any "contest"...it's about growing the sport and community of disc golf, and sharing my passion for the sport with the next generation out there. Everyone who took the time to put together a flyer on their own time/dime is to be commended, IMHO.

I am one CHEAP sucker though...so if I could save the $30-$40 on new equipment, that would be a couple more boxes of diapers for my 23-month old...LOL. ;)
