Film Stuff

Does anybody know of any good film editing programs that are available. Once our club starts up our weekly bag tag night again, I'm going to start filming and hopefully make a couple short videos. Any input is appreciated. Thanks.

There are a ton of editing programs out there. All have their advantages and disadvantages. I use Premiere, which is pricey, but have also played around with some other products. Often, editing and DVD authoring software comes bundled together, and you might consider one of these options. (I have a Sony product called Vegas that is pretty nice).

I'd use "google groups" and find online chatter about good freeware and affordable entry-level software pkgs. Some DVD drives even come with an editing and dvd authoring pkg if I'm not mistaken.

i know on my computer i have windows movie maker it is pretty easy to use and you can add pics, video, music, ect and make slides for the title and ending credits

if you have windows search you comp and you may have it

i was also looking for an editor. i have the windows movie maker,BUT my vids are in .mov format (quicktime) and the WMM doesnt support that. maybe i need to get a program that can convert the .mov to a file format compatable with the WMM.

I've never done any editing with it but I know the functionality is available
