This message is for anyone considering starting the Putting Clinic on September 2nd.

If your putting game is not where it should be then maybe it is time to do something about it. You could practice on your own and make up your own program but will you really do it? Probably not. Did you do so last month? Did you do so last year? Did it work? The odds are that putting is the weakest part of your game and will remain so unless you do something about it.

So why now and why this program? Now is better than later and much better than never. This program is an interactive, effective program that allows you to join other golfers (almost 100 are signed up so far) and go through the process together. I think you will find the group effort will increase your motivation. Greater motivation translates into greater success.

Very little is given away free in this lifetime. If you want confidence you cannot get it from any source or any person, you have to earn it. This putting program creates a structure where you will develop and retain real confidence. Not because someone gives it to you or by some mystical incantations but by earning it. A month from now you will be a much better putter.

actually i did this before a round at the course today
my practice basket is at someones house right now and i cant get it so i just did it at the course for a half hour and my first day i swiped 3 strokes off my score ;) i plan on doing this 15 mins before and 15 mins after each round till i can get my basket back

Yes, M-Kay Rose, you have found the correct video. Chris, the initial session is wherever you are doing your putting. The meeting is at the website when you log on to take credit for your work and leave any comments you choose to the other clinicians. Mr ed, the website didn't like my password for a while either but it looks like it has become more accepting.

In 30 days you can be a new player. Or you can wait on the sidelines while your buddies get better without you.

I'm wondering about the rest of my practice. I've put myself in your hands and am faitrhfully following your direction.
What I'm not sure about is when my two 15 min sessions are done is it OK to work on my starddle or my anhyzer or kneeling or long putts? My thought is that it's really tough not working on anything other than the short stuff exclusively. I also know that those difficult or specialty putts are not going to stick all the time and I'm not sure if that would undermine the confidence building of the short stuff. Are we to put the rest of the basket work on hold until the 30 days is up?

The Clinic is not restrictive, it is additive. Do whatever you want to do in terms of practice or rounds or tournaments or cross-training or yoga or Martian mind-melding just also do 30 minutes of short range putting a day. So sure, feel free to practice crazy or difficult putts in the off minutes. Or do nothing other than the 30 minutes a day. It does not matter. This is a fail safe system.

Obviously the more you practice at disc golf the better you will get. This clinic will not interfere with you learning or refining your game in ways other than putting. Oddly enough it will help you down the road with developing the rest of your game. Once you see the value of concentrated practice you can figure out how to solve other shots as well. You are starting with putting, the hardest skill to master. Everything else is easier.

You do not need to do anything to build your own confidence except consistently make putts! That confidence is floating around and will stick to you like white to rice. Do not worry in the slightest how that confidence will find you. It will. It is inevitable. Follow the yellow brick road.
