Which would you consider to be the most durable basket, the Mach 5 or the DiscCatcher Pro? I'm wondering if the Mach 5's (which are my favorite) are really worth the extra money?

I find discraft chainstars to be the best permanent basket!!! That said I have a limited DG budget and opted for DISCatcher® Sport. Found it online with free shipping for $159.
* Galvanized and powder coated construction
* 18 chain assembly identical to Pro model-----catches quite well
* Light at only 40 pounds- can easily move around my backyard, take down to the basement during the winter.
* Collapses to 6 pieces
* Great for backyard practice and temporary holes
this was the best basket for my purposes.....if you are looking for a basket that can be left outside in the elements I would go with a Chainstar!
The Chainstar is the best basket.... I got one from Marshall Street for a great price! It's two years old and still perfect.
we just ordered new disc catcher pros at uah in huntsville alabama. they started rusting in two weeks!!! they were supposed to be galvanized. made in china I guess. go with the mach 5's. you get what you pay for
chainstar, all the way...
