Oceanside-Guajome Regional Park (riparian issues? don't think so)
What about Escondido down the 15...Kit Carson Park...or around Lake Hodges?

Camp Pendleton? They already have recreational facilities...golf, camping, bike traile, etc

Why so far north? Camp pendleton is seriously over an hour for anyone south of the 8.

Yeah, Kit Carson Park would be perfect. It has a lot of un-used area in the back section of the park.
