The Community of Disc Golfers and About All Things Disc Golf

What is everyone's beer of choice when out on the course? I've noticed different areas have their preferences, usually a craft beer of some kind.

Around here, Buffumville, I see a lot of Sierra Nevada Pale Ale. When I buy it at the package store near the course the woman makes a comment about being a disc golfer.

Myself, I like something like Magic Hat #9 or Sierra Nevada Pale Ale. Nothing too heavy while I'm doing all the walking.

Tecate is the best beer for covert drinking operations on college courses and public parks that don't allow drinking. It looks just like a Coke when you stuff it in a koozie
as my rule you can't go wrong with fat tire or full sail amber. These just make any round more enjoyable.
I've seen a few guys carrying around growlers of local brews. Great idea in my opinion. Just need a supersized coozie now.
Free Beer.

Remember a tournament long, long ago where we did not finish off the keg on Sat. night. Luckily for us beer drinkers, the keg was avaliable in a van (parked on the field) during the field events portion on Sunday. MTA and Accuracy was very entertaining.

One guy entered the van and didn't come out until it was dark.
Independence Pale Ale - Summer or Independence Bootlegger Brown- Fall and Winter; Independence is a microbrewed beer so if you cant find any try Avery's Ellies Brown Ale
when it start getting hot I tend to switch over to cherry wheat or apricot ale. they help with the heat.
Magic Hat #9 is a great apricot ale. Just a hint so its not overbearing. Delicious.
who makes it I have never heard of it.
Magic Hat is the company.

#9 is the beer.

They are a craft beer company out of Burlington Vermont.
I will look for it in Mo. next time I go. Have you ever had wild blue? Strong blueberry lager. A bit fruity for me but one or two to start things off is ok. Seams to get right on top of you:) and I like that.
I have not.

Wachusett (another NE local) makes an excellent blueberry ale.
sierra nevada is a great beer that is nation wide.in michigan, you just can't beat an ice cold "bell's"oberon on a summer day.
