Anybody use one of those foldable disc retrievers? My buddys and I have been wondering how well they work...

Well, basically, you don't have to get in to get your discs. But, they only work well to get them out fi you can see them.

You can retrieve other discs that you didn't lose with it, but be prepared to be using it for a pretty long time
Cool man, thats what we were thinking. Guess there really is no substitute for disc divin'.

Yea, lol.
I have been using a ball retreiver that extends out over 21 feet. If I can see the disc, I can get it. It will pay for itself in a few weeks. They usually run around $30.00 at a ball golf pro shop. But don't let others use it or it will come back broken. Don't try to pull logs or other objects out of the water or you will break it fast. Good luck. GB #554
I had the Quic Stic, it worked pretty well for 2 years, saved 40-50 discs, then snapped when I stuck it in a fast moving creek, and it was thick aluminum.
I've been using a ball retriever pole also, it works great like u said for getting discs in far side of trees and out of water. Would be impossible to get dragons off the surface with the disc scooper thing...
