I had a Pro D zone before, and it felt like all of the other Prd D plastic before (grippy, almost powdery, etc.)  I recently bought a limited edition pro D zone, and it almost feels like X plastic.  It is slick, and shinny.  Do companies, or more specifically Discraft use a different blend for their first runs/limited editions?

not usually. first run is just the original release of the disc. it may fly different then what it is said to because they might not have worked out all the kninks. i have a first run force that is crazy overstable for me and usually i can make them fly straight. I also have a first run meteor which is allittle more stable then it should be
i hear you on the first run force....crazy overstable!
