2010 Weight Loss Challenge?

So, who's interested in being part of a community effort to lose weight and get into better shape for the 2010 season? And what are your ideas as to how we could do that as a virtual competition?

Great idea Terry, but imma throw out there for all of us skinny/under-weight guys...lets gain a few pounds, my personal target goal is to gain 15 pounds by spring.

dont say that Terry, im only 115lb, my Doctor told me i have to gain 25lbs in the next year if i want to be at my healthiest...just trying to get to my goals!

How about just forming a group on this site. We can call it "Chub and Dales! lol!!" Just have everybody post their Staring weight and have a target date for the compitition. The winner gets a free disc? The best way, would be to do a percentage of loss and not total weight. Not sue how that could be done though?

it would have to be based on honesty ! but we could start Jan 1st and have it go through a certain date like 2010 worlds or something along those lines.

I lost 65 lbs last winter and gained 50 back. I want to lose another 65 this year. I'm in. Pro or Am worlds? How about the USDGC to ensure keeping it off?
