If you're an amateur, what were the three best tournaments you played this year?

What made them the best?

If one of your 3 best tournaments of 2009 is yet to be played, why do you think it will be on your Best List?

I didn't play Am Nationals this year, so I think my three best have been

Harbin Rat Classic - a one-day B-tier in Cincinnatti in the spring.
A fun family road trip south, a good course and better courses to play the rest of the weekend, awesome payouts, reasonable entry fees, and Kiralyn won in Men's Rec.

Roscoe's Revenge Ams - another one-day B-tier on a good course, a fun family road trip, better than awesome payouts, Kiralyn won in Women's Advanced over a really good amateur woman player

Michigan State Champs - a two-day B-tier on excellent courses, a fun partial family road trip north, wildlife and UFO related sightings, a well-run tournament, two state championship trophies came home in the car.

I had a b tier spectacular spring valley it was alright i had alot of fun but, so did something on my strokes... :( another one was birdies at bridgeland it was a long course and hot!! Another good one was the 2009 states doubles at snowfarm now that was an awesome tourney it was extremely fun.
#1- MI States
#2- CCR Open
#3- Farm Classic at Flip City
#1-Michigan State Finals - RECORD ATTENDANCE (enough said)
#2-BYOB @ BRATS - Cryztal Plastic payout DISCRAFT BABY
#3-Angry Squirrel - I didn't play in it but I was there and the payouts were crazy (awesome)
Bowling Green Ams(Bowling Green Ky), payouts sucked but the players packs and amount of players was crazy.

Lexington Open(Lexington/Nicholasville Ky), Anything Lyle McCoon(TD) touches turns to gold. The best payouts, CTP's, and overall fun tournament that I have ever been to. And it rained to the point of flooding on Sunday and it was still worth sticking around.

Buffalo Trace Open (Palmyra In), Even though it is only in it's third year and was hosted by first time TD's Nick and Ed Murphy, this was a great tournament. Beautiful course that is played next to a lake, great camping with all of your disc golfing friends, awesome GLO round the night before. And some of the highest payouts I have ever seen for a C-Tier!!!!
