The Community of Disc Golfers and About All Things Disc Golf

I'm fairly new to dg and the consensus advice on the boards here was to get a fairway driver and stick to low speed drivers for awhile, the TL interested me for a bit, but nothing from Innova really held my attention long enough to warrant a purchase.

Browsing Lat 64's website I came across the River and looked at the numbers and went on ebay instanly and ordered one.  I for one think it will be perfect for me, being new to the game and preferring understable discs with good glide.

Just looking for opinions on this decision from experienced players.

I find the gold line plastic to be more under stable then the opto. I also like the avenger ss for a under stable disc. Its a good beginner disc but I like it for up hill shots. My favorite all around disc has been mentioned is the sidewinder. You can do so much with it. Turn it for anhyzers, hyzer it and let it flip for long straight drives. Just a good all around easy disc to throw.
