A physics controversy? You tell me

Whats better around the baskeet for stickin in it? The stiff putters wich bash into the chains to equal out the force of impact or the softies wich stick to the chains. This dude said the stiffers are better  for close and softer for far shots. I thought it was opposite.  WHAT UP?

Ok! Each one as good points and bad points. I use a soft putter most of the times. But sometimes went the Wind is a little more strong, I will use a stuff putter. Just work with each one, about 20 to 30 minutes, until you get the feelings for each one.
