Any news about Kimball Pines in Battle Creek?

Any of you Battle Creek - Kalamazoo area DGr's know anything about the fate of the Kimball Pines DC. I was by there this weekend and it's still completely closed up. I thought there was a clean up in progress and I know that they went in and cleared the North Country Trail that runs through it. Anyone heard anything? Just curious. It use to be the closest course to me.

I don't think they're going to replace or repair the DGC, but I am not sure. Even if they ever did, it wouldn't be close to the same. Talk to Larry LaBond he would probably know.

There actually is something in the works to put a course back in here.  Now how fast that will happen is beyond me, but the intention is there and it will most likely happen, just god knows when.  And its when it happens its gonna be a pretty sick layout.  Ill keep this updated as I learn more information.

Hmm But they will replace GDC because it is not working properly now.. :(

Was out at Kimball Pines this Morning 1st Phase was Started Monday 11/26, will have 18 Holes playable by May 2013 and yes it will be LONGER trying to add 500'-1000' to the 18 holes we have, the Goal is to have 27 holes Playable by September 2013.

The Battle Creek Disc golf Club will be having a Meeting at Kimball Pines some Saturday this December look for a Post for Date & Time there will still be Lots of Work to do to get this back to the Championship course that it once was
