The fins on the bottom seem to keep it going straight

Permalink Reply by Jeff Nichols on April 4, 2012 at 9:06pm I had an Impact in my bag for quite a while. To me, it was Discraft's version of the Innova Leopard, which was what I was looking for. I ended up pulling it though cause I quit using it when I got my 1st ESP Cyclone. Now, I carry 3-4 Cyclones in my bag at all times...
Permalink Reply by Ron Suir on April 4, 2012 at 11:41pm I LOVE the leopard.. I may have to try one of these out.
Permalink Reply by Jeff Nichols on April 4, 2012 at 11:58pm I LOVE the Leopard, too. Just a heads up, the Rim on the Impact is NOTHING like the Leopard. The rim on the Impact feels Much More like a Mid Range rim to me than the Leopard.
Permalink Reply by Cinque on April 5, 2012 at 3:10am I've been throwing an Impact for a while now. I use it as a midrange. It has a better slow anhyzer glide than both of my buzzz discs. I only use it on certain holes at my local course.

don't know how the fins work, but they are straight
Permalink Reply by Bruce Brakel on April 5, 2012 at 4:32pm I throw an Impact for straight mid-range shots. The "fins" or hatchmarks on the underside of the rim seem to be more than just a gimmick. They seem to provide a little bit of stability that the Storm lacked.
