I'm just curious. I stopped drinking Monsters but occasionally like a cold red bull when it's hot outside.

was thinking about trying one for the second round of a HOT tournament coming up to see if they helped me keep my energy lvl up. along with plenty of water of course.

thoughts?

I think that drink is basically a big dose of Vitamin B. Years ago, vitamin B shots were very popular. Remember? Let us know how the drink works for you...I have been thinking about trying the 5 hour drink as well.
Ive drank them a few times, they seem to work pretty good for me. I drank half before the first round of a tournament and then the rest before the second round and i was good to go for the whole day.
i drank one and played like shit I was flying if you take it do it a hour or more before you play that's you best bet
I have tried the 5 Hour Energy drink and like it. I gulp one at the start of a second round of tournaments (it is only 2 ounces). It has a shot of caffeine in it and a bunch of B vitamins. I don't know if the caffeine is why they work or if the other ingredients play some role as well.

I drink very strong coffee in the morning so I am used to a caffeine buzzz and it does not bother my playing, morning or afternoon. I'm not convinced it lasts anywhere near 5 hours but the initial energy burst is good. I haven't noticed any negative side effects.

I have yet to try it in extreme heat but so far it seems fine in the 80's and humid.
They work OK, but kill your tastebuds first. Man they are NASTY!
hmmm. thanks y'all.
IMO I think they suck. I took one to stay awake and fell asleep a half hour later. I do have ADHD or atleast my doctors said so. I have no clue if that may have something to do with it. But they do not work for me.
You don't need an energy drink to play disc golf. Water will do just fine. If you need energy, eat an apple. :-)
