anyone know of course near tawas mi

going camping for a few days in Tawas MI , is there any courses that anyone knows of , there is none on the locatior sites. Thought maybe someone may know of any ,heard a rumor of one in AuGraius but not sure.

I believe West Branch is the closest one. I frequent East Tawas a few times a year and I always had to drive there to play. It's called Ogemaw Hills DGC. Not sure of anything closer though.

Ogemaw is brand new so they are still working on cement pads and markers. It is very open course, so unless you're a beginner you may want to stay clear of it. Not worth the 30 min drive. But, if you are really itching to throw it's the best option.

Alpena has a couple of courses. PDGA course directory is a good resource.

well I took the drive anyway, my wife and I arrived to a full parking lot. They were hosting a habitat for humanity fund raiser tourney. Course was closed to walk ons . We are both too new to enter something like that plus it was 50.00 , so we had lunch and a nice drive . Maybe next time.
