Anyone play Ft Custer recently?

Wondering if anyone has played there recently and if part of the course  still closes this time of year?  Looking to head out there saturday for a round if possible.

The 24 hole layout closed on September 30. We now have 18 holes on the Beach Course. The Beach Course will be playable through May and then we go back to the 24 holes. The Beach Course plays easier and faster than the 24 holer. And it is much easier to follow.
We added 6 new holes--if you have played the Fort in 2010 you know the other 12 holes All tees are Fly Pads but not all tees are perfectly level. Orange and yellow arrow signs point you to the next tee. The map the DNR will give you is WRONG and outdated--follow the numbered bricks at the tees and the arrow signs.
Can you tell I'm one of the guys who works on the course?!?!? We are pretty excited about the new layout so I hope you like it. Let me know if you have any suggestions.

Thanks for the helpful info Chad. I've been out there earlier this summer but haven't been out to the ft. in a couple months. Things were lookin pretty sweet last time we threw out there. The flow was awesome and had no problems negotiating the course except on the last couple holes but I think we figured it out. Lookin forward to checkin it out. Thanks again! Keep up the good work.
