Who gets mad, or aggravated, when you have good throw and someone your playing with says something along the lines of "nice toss" or "good throw" and then if your disc proceeds to hit a try you think that its because the other person complimented your throw? If you are then PLEASE explain your logic because I just don't get it....

See what happens is, that the sound vibrations from you saying "Nice toss" effects the disc flight line. This then causes the disc to bump off of its line and hitting the object ;b

Yeah I get a kick out of those people too
Ahhhh... you know, I never looked at it like that, but now that you mention it, I totally see where they're coming from.
It's called "nicing a disc".
"Don't say 'Nice' while my disc is in the air!" Greg Bagthrower
I know those types too. They make me laugh.
What is even funnier is TRYING to "nice" your buddy's disc out of the air on purpose, nixing his great throw!
"nice, NICE, NICE!"
I am not one of those people but I have come across a few people that will say nice shot when it was in reality a horrible shot or will say nice try or nice run when you hit the front of the cage or airball a 15 foot putt, that becomes a little aggravating
Agreed
The logic behind it is the flight of a disc is usually a buetifllal thing to watch, much like a movie you don't talk about it untill it is over. To do so previous of a disc landing is rude, and if you "nice'' somebody it shows that you are rude and ignorant of what a nice shot truly is.
It really comes down to complimenting a throw before you have seen the final result. It looks pretty good and then bam it smacks that tiny branch that you didn't see before.
I call them " Hammer Guys" !!! They always seem to be mad ,upset or always getting burned somehow , someway by the course as they say.

LET IT GO !!!!! Hammer Guy !!!!
