Are you one of those people?

Who gets mad, or aggravated, when you have good throw and someone your playing with says something along the lines of "nice toss" or "good throw" and then if your disc proceeds to hit a try you think that its because the other person complimented your throw? If you are then PLEASE explain your logic because I just don't get it....

Well it would never make me mad, but why call nice throw when it has not stopped? I could change really fast! I have a friend that called nice throw or nice try after every shot, he was really just trying to be nice... but I had to tell him it's better to save the nice's until the disc is on the ground and only if it's really nice... not just okay.

But not a big deal to me either way... just not every time :)

I've never had a disc hit a try. In fact, I've never seen anyone hit a try.

Heck, I do it to myself all the time---declare a drive "parked", a putt "in", a shot close to O.B. "safe"---only to be thwarted by the mischievous disc. If someone else "nices" my throw and thus ruins it, they likely just beat me to it.

It's not a nice throw until it has come to rest. Just as many not 'niced' shots hit trees , it's just that once someone opens there mouth you seem to notice it more.
