Bertha Brock County Park DGC

Some of you may member I started a 'disc'ussion a while back about the possibility of a DGC coming to Ionia, MI. If you were at all tickled by this fancy, please stay ths course! I am still gaining momentum and if seems more and more of a reality everyday. I have two course designers and a hand full other individuals who will volunteer their time to the actual installation, it's just on me to organize the efforts. The County Park Advisory Board is fully on board and keeps telling me not to worry about the County Commissioner and that they will handle them. If I do got to go in front of them, it will be very casual, no presentation is necessary, and I will use the magic phrase "this will cost the county NOTHING."

That being said, I need to gain donor support from private parties. I will be at a business Expo at the local highschool on 03/13/2010 pomoting the course and trying to gain support.

Things I need:

1.) An example of a donor letter ( have many, but none geared towards disc golf.)
2.) support and excitement, espeically from locals
3.) donations (working on a link or some other method via the internet)
4.) and any other ideas (where I should get baskets, other materials, etc...)
