Best courses in Atlanta Area?

I'll be traveling south through Atlanta on my way to the Savannah Open. I'm wanting to check out some of the courses in the area. I'm looking for long, epic courses that would be easy to navigate for a first-timer. Any suggestions?

Thanks so much for the pointers Bobby. I've traveled through so many times and never stopped to play. I'm definitely hitting up one of your recommendations when I go through. There's a good chance I'll be heading through there next week. I'll give you a call and hopefully our schedules will work out and I can get you to show me around.
