Katana is similar to a longer sidewinder - you can snap it with a good amount of hyzer and it will flip up and glide or I have been throwing it as a roller too - right out of the box.
I like the R-Pro Boss, but I just got the "pop top" Pro Boss and the jury is out on which flies further. Both get dinged up pretty easy, but you don't have to wait to break them in to fly like you want them too.
If you want to throw someting really fun (w/out wind), try picking up the new 130 class Pro Destroyers -- can you say hyzer-flip. I picked one up for my daughter and started throwing it for fun and it is soo light and fast it glides up with the nose flat.... and it floats too :)
